The Credit Risk service utilizes Credit Scoring (nine different algorithms incorporating the guidelines of the Basel Committee and the European Union for ranking firms in credit risk zones and assessing their probability of default) which evaluate the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the firm's clientele.
The aim of this service is to evaluate the characteristics of your clients, rate them into Credit Worthiness Zones – ICAP Score zones – and predict their probability of default. Furthermore, it allows you to measure the cumulative credit risk to which you are exposed.
Credit Risk service is only available as a bundle with a Business report: Comprehensive, Standard, Compact and can also be combined with the Watch Service.
The Watch Service offers continuous monitoring on an annual basis and provides early warnings for any significant events or changes that have or may have an adverse effect on the credit assessment and/or financial position of the firms with which you are trading.
With the Credit Risk & Watch service, the Credit Risk analysis of your customer porftolio becomes dynamic, since all included companies are under daily monitoring and the risk analysis is recalculated whenever updated data occur.
The Watch service is combined with the Comprehensive Report which is ideal when making higher-risk credit decisions, providing an instant snapshot of the company’s financial position with easy-to-read risk indicators, as well as detail pages that let you dig deeper. This Report includes detailed data on the subject company's commercial activity, registered seat and real estate assets, management and holdings in affiliated businesses, and associate banks, as well as comparison of its financial indicators against those of the sector and competitors.

The Watch service combined with the Standard Report which is ideal for making medium-to-higher risk credit decisions. While not as complete as our Comprehensive Report, this Business Information report does provide you with information on the company commercial activities, relationships, and comparison of its financial indicators against those of the sector and competitors, so as to evaluate the company as to its position in its sector.
The Watch service combined with the Compact Report which is a reliable source of information for taking medium-to-low risk credit decisions. While not as complete as our Comprehensive and Standard Reports, this Report does provide you with information on the company regarding the operation, profitability and stability.
